recording directly onto the track using Podium's built-in video

- Quick start menu - On
starting new Podium a quick start menu will pop up containing options
for how you wish to use the software. These will help to
configure the tabs within Podium to suit your needs for that
session.
- Scripting feature for simple allocation of
student's writing to the different speakers involved in the
podcast.
- Easy editing process with differentiated colours
for each speaker.
- You can now add a video track to your podcasts
to sit alongside multiple audio tracks. Podium supports the following
video and image files: avi, mp4, jpg, bmp and png.
- Video capture tool - If you have a webcam you
can create instant video or images to use in your podcasts!
- Preview your podcast - The new playback window
enables you to preview all your tracks together.
- A timeline has now been introduced to help you
see how long your podcast is. You can zoom in and out of the podcast
with the timeline reflecting the part you are viewing.
- Publishing options - You can choose to publish
your podcasts as video files or audio files, or both. You can also
choose which episodes get published each time, giving you the
flexibility to react to a range of audiences.
- Automatic upload to HTTP or FTP for
hosting.
- Automatic generation of a URL you can use to
promote your
podcasts.
